Rocky Mountain Film Stories
When I turned 23, I moved to the mountains. When I say I moved to the mountains, I mean I literally got a job working next to a glacier. It was no joke, folks. What it did was light a spark for a deep, authentic connection to the Rocky Mountains. The people I met, the feeling of walking in a forest, and the image of people seemingly as tiny ants at the base of a mountain; I fell in love.
Below are some photos I took with my grandpa’s old 35mm camera, which was another passion that sparked during those years and stays with me today. To be able to capture the feeling of a summer afternoon in the rockies is something I haven’t perfected- but I’ll live the rest of my life trying to.
